DrvKNX is a driver for KNX to Web Port.
To use DrvKNX, an IO device is first created which is then used to communicate with the KNX device.
Installation
The installation of DrvKNX is done by selecting DrvKNX when installing the Web Port. See "Installation" for more information on the installation process.
IO device
To use DrvKNX, an IO device is created according to chapter "IO-devices" of the manual.
In addition to general settings (see "general settings" in IO-devices), the following settings are available for an IO device of type DrvKNX:
| Setting: | Description: |
| Connection type | Indicates whether the connection is made by ROUTING or TUNNELING |
| IP/Hostname | Specifies the computer name or IP address of the PLC |
| Port | Specifies the port to be used |
| Local IP address | Specifies the local IP address used for TUNNELING |
| Local port | Specifies the local port used for TUNNELING |
NOTE!
If more than one IO-device is running TUNNELING, then every IO-device needs an unique port!
Tags
For more information on how to create tag lists and tags, see chapter "Tags" of the manual.
Timestamp
A tag has two types of timestamps:
Timestamp: The time when Web Port updates the time.
Timestamp Raw-value: The time when Raw-value was changed from device.
Adressing tags:
Addressing of tags is done according to
