DrvSMTP is a SMTP toWeb Port driver.
To use DrvSMTP, an IO device is first created and then used to communicate with respective device/PLC.
Installation
The installation of DrvSMTP is done by selecting DrvSMTP during the installation of Web Port.
See "Installation" for more information on the installation process.
IO-device
To use DrvSMTP, first create an IO device as described in chapter "IO-devices" of the manual. In addition to general settings (see "general settings" in IO-devices), the following settings are available for an IO device of type DrvSMTP:

| IP/Device address | Specifies the computer name or IP address of the PLC |
| Port | Specifies the UDP port to use |
| Max read time [ms] | Maximum reading time before attempt is interrupted |
| Reading experiments | Number of reading attempts before reading is interrupted |
