Energinet can receive meter data directly from its own API, from customer-provided APIs, or from third-party supplier APIs.

This option allows the customer or the customer's supplier to submit meter data to Energinet's API. This option is included in Energinet at no additional cost. To do this, an API import must be created in Energinet by an admin user. You can read more about the API and how to get started in this article
Energinet retrieves data from an external API.
For customers or suppliers who have their own data APIs, Energinet can retrieve data directly from these APIs. This option involves an initial setup fee and an annual ongoing cost. To utilize this option, please contact the Kiona support department to initiate the process. Kiona will require comprehensive documentation/description of the external API, along with secure access credentials, to establish the data retrieval connection.
