Updates/improvements to Operation Center
Mobile updates:
Bottom Navigation
A fixed bottom navigation bar now appears on small screens, providing direct access to the main sections — My Plants, Dashboard, and Call Log. A "More" button opens a bottom sheet drawer containing everything else: your profile, account settings, user administration, support, feedback, and the Kiona product switcher. The drawer supports swipe-down-to-dismiss and includes drill-in sub-pages with a back button.
Date Pickers
The single-date and date-range pickers now use the same mobile bottom-sheet pattern (with swipe-to-dismiss) as the rest of the app, rather than their own custom drawer implementation.
Shared Drawer Behaviour
Touch drag-to-dismiss, backdrop dimming, and the grab-handle layout are now a single shared module used across all mobile bottom sheets — popovers, select menus, and date.
Desktop updates:
Popover Menus
The old full-width slide-in panels for Settings, Help, Account, and Products have been replaced with individual popover panels that appear directly below their trigger button in the top bar. Only one can be open at a time — opening one closes the others. This feels snappier and keeps you oriented on the page.
Updates both Mobile and Desktop
Instant Language Switching
Previously, changing your language in Account Settings required a page refresh to take effect across the app. Now the UI updates immediately after saving. The "Changes saved" toast also appears in the selected language. The top-bar language dropdown has been removed from Operation Center — language is now managed exclusively through Account Settings.
Page Titles in the Top Bar
Each main page now includes a semantic title (e.g. "My Plants", "Dashboard") that appears in the top bar. This improves orientation, especially on mobile, where the sidebar is hidden. It will also help us meet the WCAG accessibility requirements we are aiming for.
Translations
Updated Dashboard translations for Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, and German to use more natural/common terms.

Updates to My Plants
We've improved My Plants to give users a clearer overview. You will now have clear visibility into the sites protected by Alarm Monitoring 24/7.
You can also customise your plant list and show or hide columns and pin your favourite plants to the top.
Another feature is to expand plant rows, which gives you the key information without leaving the list view.
Expand a plant row to instantly see:
- Current alarm recipient
- Five most recent alarms
- Active dispatch settings
- Any blocked units
Additionally, the "View mode" and "Service mode" buttons have been moved inside the expanded area, along with quick links to "Remote access" and "Designer" if the user has access to them.
Finally, we have made a few fixes:
Sorting in tables by clicking the table header is now available again. We have updated the terminology under "Communications." Previously, it was labelled as "Plant disconnected," but it will now be displayed as "Communication lost." This change aims to make it clearer that the disconnection is unintentional rather than deliberate.
Updates to Alarm and Alarm history
You can now see changes to the "Alarms" and "Alarm history" pages. Additionally, we have added a new information card to the "General" page, displaying the total number of unconfirmed alarms for a plant. The sub-menu below the header has received a new, fresh look. We call it tabs. If you look closely, you will see that we show active alarms and unconfirmed alarms in the sub-menu as well.
Alarms: We have updated the display of alarms. The Alarms page now allows you to view both active alarms and unconfirmed alarms. Closed and confirmed alarms have been moved to the Alarm History page. This helps highlight the alarms that require attention.
Alarm history: The Alarm History page still contains all alarm instances. You can now also switch the view to show alarm objects, which represent confirmed and closed alarms. When opening an alarm object, you can view its complete log.

Export Alarm history
We are constantly working to improve our Platform and are now happy to launch a new feature in IWMAC: Alarm history export. This feature lets you export and analyse the data with other sources in your favourite spreadsheet or data analysis tool.
This feature is a great time saver for users, as exporting the alarm history has previously been a hands-on work by copying and pasting.
Here's how it works
- Access by the new button "Alarm history" in the Operation Centre
- Export as either an Excel file or a CSV file
- The filter on the page determines what data you will receive in the export
