This central heating system is being optimized by Kiona Edge. The outdoor temperature in the display may not reflect the reality. Changes to settings like heating curve, pump stop etc may negatively impact this optimization.
Settings
Any adjustment to the heating controller settings of the heating circuit may have a negative impact on the optimization and should be avoided unless there is an emergency. If you intend to permanently change the settings anyway, it needs to be documented in the web platform Edge.
Outdoor temperature
Kiona Edge replaces the outdoor sensor with a HUB that calculates the outdoor temperature you see in the heating controller display using measured outdoor temperature, building parameters, heating adjustments, climate, and weather forecast. This may cause the displayed temperature to sometimes deviate up to 10-15°C from the actual outdoor temperature, this is completely normal.
Replacing heating controller
About to replace the heating controller? The HUB can send a variety of signal types, both active and passive. Contact Kiona Edge to adjust the signal type, verify function and document settings of the new heating controller to Edge.
