If the trend function has been activated, trends and reports are reached via MY PAGES. First open the page containing the objects of interest. Then click the desired object and select TREND in the dialog that opens. The trend page is also reached via the top menu by clicking TREND.
When the trend page is opened via a page object, trend data is automatically retrieved for all signals linked to the current object. If the trend page is opened via the top menu, a dialog is shown instead where settings can be made to select which trend data to use and how it should be displayed.
The trend settings dialog is also accessed via the Trend settings button in the top menu.
There are two ways to change settings for the current trend.
The top menu contains the following settings:
|Lock X||Locks the X axis when zooming with the mouse wheel|
|Lock Y||Locks the Y axis when zooming with the mouse wheel|
|Show overview||Displays a longer overview below main trend view|
|Real time trend||Reads real-time values|
|More details||Disables data down sampling. (Can affect performance for trend view)|

The following settings can be made via trend settings:

To retrieve trend data and update the chart, click the UPDATE button in the trend settings dialog.
To export the current trend data to the CSV-file, click the EXPORT button.
You can click on the tag-description in the top-right corner of the chart to enable or disable it in the graph.
The chart can be zoomed in and out using the scroll wheel on the mouse.
The chart axes are scaled automatically according to the available measurement data. This can also be changed to use the respective tag area. It is also possible to change the scaling on the y-axis by clicking on it.
If the mouse is dragged over the measurement points in the chart, a pop-up box is displayed with information about time stamp and measurement value.
Shown period in the main trend window can also be changed by dragging and dropping over a certain period in the overview window.
NOTE! If the graph is zoomed when real time trend has been selected, the graph will stop auto-scrolling.
Delete trend data
It is possible to delete trend data from Web Port’s web interface. It is done by opening the trend view for a certain tag from its tag list, click specific trend points, and selecting Delete in the sidemenu.
In the next step it is also possible to delete all trend points within an arbitrary time interval.
Use this functionality carefully, since deleted trend points cannot be restored without a full backup.
