System settings

Welcome to the server settings of Web Port! To make the most out of your Web Port experience, there are a few settings that you should consider. Firstly, you can check out the general settings, which provide you with important information about your current installation. If you want to make Web Port available over the internet, we recommend that you use HTTPS (SSL) for added security. Additionally, if you wish to send alarm messages through email, you'll need to configure the SMTP settings. If you have a GSM modem, you'll need to indicate the COM port and the communication speed so that your alarm messages are sent successfully. You may also want to consider connecting Web Port to your existing Active Directory (AD). This can be done using either NTLM or LDAP.
