The Web Port Nimbus module is used to connect Web Port alarm management to Nimbus alarm transmitters.
Installation
The Nimbus module is an add-on that needs to be selected during the installation of Web Port (ExtNimbus).
Basic configuration
The settings for the Nimbus module are accessed by opening System Preferences / Nimbus.

| Status | Indicates the current status of the connection to Nimbus |
| Nimbus server address | Enter the address (ip or hostname) of the server where Nimbus is running |
| Nimbus server port | Specify the TCP port to use when connecting to Nimbus (default 58658) |
| Connection timeout [ms] | Maximum response time when connected to Nimbus |
| Reconnect interval [ms] | Time between connection attempts to Nimbus |
| Request timeout [ms] | Maximum response time to questions to Nimbus |
| Subscribe for Alarm events | Specifies whether Web Port should also subscribe to Nimbus alarm events. Used for example if Nimbus is connected to several systems, and you want to display alarms from all systems in Web Port |
| Alarm event queue size | Specifies the size of the alarm queue when communicating with Nimbus |
