If the Modbus gateway is not functioning, first check that the Webport server runs as Administrator. If that doesn't help, follow the guide below:
Go to C:/Program Files/Webport -> Open webportserver.exe.config in a text editor like Notepad.
If the file looks like this, you need to change it:
- Change the highlighted text from 4.0.5.0 -> 5.0.0.0
- Save the file and restart the Webport server.
