In addition to API integration, Web Port offers an e-mail integration option for sending data to Energinet. This method is particularly useful when dealing with large volumes of data, including large amounts of historical data. Which can sometimes be challenging for API integration. Unlike API submissions, e-mail integration has no restrictions on how often data can be sent, making it easier for importing historical data.
The e-mail report is designed to send data once per day for the previous day’s data in the standard es_2 format that Energinet can process. Users can also send historical data by specifying a start and end date.
Additionally, the report allows the inclusion of multiple tags and the selection of data frequency at 15, 20, or 60 minutes, even for historical imports.
NOTE!
This report is only compatible with Web Port versions 2.25.10 and later.
Prerequisites
- Admin-access (or similar level with possibility to add pages) to a Web Port installation
- Login to Energinet and access to setup API-Imports

For data to be successfully submitted to Energinet, a meter must be set up with a Meter Data ID so that the incoming data can be linked to the correct meter in Energinet. If this has not yet been configured, please follow this guide: Creating a new meter
Send historical data
If you wish to send historical data add a new input in the report called: SEND_HISTORY
Enter the start date (YYYY-MM-DD) in Custom 1
Enter the end date (YYYY-MM-DD) in Custom 2 (if not filled in, today's date is used as end date)
Then save and run report again as step 10 above.
NOTE!
After the data has been sent to Energinet, remember to remove the SEND_HISTORY input. Otherwise, the report will resend all historical data again the next day when it runs automatically.
