With Web Port, you can create custom collections of dynamic page objects that you can organize into lists. These lists can either be personal to you as the logged in user, or can be accessed by anyone with access to the Web Port page.
For example, collections can be used to create an overview of important temperatures in a building.
User specific collections must be activated in SYSTEM SETTINGS/ SERVER/Addons (see Add-ons) in order to be used.
Create object collection
Create personal object collection
To create a new object collection, go to Object collection in the menu, then select CREATE. Enter a name and optionally a description for your collection and click SAVE. This object collection will only be available for the user who has created it.
To more easily organize objects in a collection, headers can be added to the list. This is done by clicking the + sign at the top of the list and then entering the header text in the dialog that opens.
To edit or delete a heading, first select the heading and then select DELETE in the dialog that opens. Confirm that you want to delete the header to complete.
To rename an object collection, first navigate to the collection and then click EDIT COLLECTION. Make the desired changes and then click SAVE.
Create Object collection page
Create an object collection page by creating a new page of the type Collection page (.wpc) and follow the instructions. Information on how to add, remove, and manage pages and folders can be found in Pages section.
Organizing objects and groups is done in the same way as for a personal object collection
To add objects, first navigate to the page where the object is located. Then click on the object and select ADD TO… Then select the desired object collection from the list and SAVE.
Objects can be organized in the object collection by dragging and dropping in the desired location.
To delete an object in a collection, first go to the collection and then click on the object in the list. In the dialogue that opens, click REMOVE and then confirm to complete.
To remove an object collection, first navigate to the collection. Then select REMOVE COLLECTION, confirm to complete.
