Portforwarding Guide for IWMAC
For proper network setup and to ensure smooth communication with IWMAC systems, the following steps need to be followed for port forwarding and network configuration:
1. Open Ports from LAN to Internet/VPN
- 80 TCP
- 443 TCP
2. Open Ports from Internet/VPN to LAN
- 81 TCP
- 5900 TCP
3. Routing/NAT
A dynamic route (NAT) must be created from the above ports to the IWMAC PC.
4. Local IP Address Configuration
The IWMAC PC must be configured to automatically receive an IP address, or you can set it up manually. In the case of manual setup, ensure the following:
- IP Address
- Subnet Mask
- Default Gateway
5. Public IP Address
IWMAC must be provided with the public IP address, which can be obtained from your provider. Alternatively, you can check it by visiting www.whatismyip.com
6. Allowed IP Addresses
The following IP addresses must be allowed for incoming connections:
- 89.248.6.154 (primary ATEA)
- 89.248.6.155 (secondary ATEA)
- 213.52.0.186 (backup)
The gateway talks to server mqtt.iwmac.net - IP:89.248.6.155
