This guide explains how to configure alarm routing in Service Tool. It covers site setup, destination settings, alarm route configuration, and the required common alarm settings.

Open Service Tool:
Start by opening Service Tool.

Add a new site:
Click Add to create a new site connection.

Enter the site connection details:
Use the following settings when creating the site:
- Site name: <Name of the Facility>
- Destination name: Default or Iwmac_driver
- Pass code: 123
- Channel: TCP/IP
- Enhanced Security: Off
- IP address: 192.168.010.020
- TCP/IP port: 1041
Make sure the IP address and port match the controller configuration.

Log in to the controller:
Use the following login details:
- Username: SUPV
- Password: 123

Open the configuration menu:
Click the Pipe Wrench icon to open the setup menu.

Configure time and daylight saving:
Open Setup time and date and set daylight saving to EU.

Create a destination:
Go to Destinations and click New. Use the following settings:
- Name: iwmac_driver
- IP Host name: 192.168.10.10
- Pass code: 123
- Use as alarm receiver: Yes
- Send alarms: Enabled

Create an alarm route:
Go to Alarm route and click New. Use the following settings:
- Name: Quick setup route
- Mode: Enabled
- Priority range: All
- Schedule select: None

Configure alarm common setup:
Open Alarm common setup and use these values:
- Alarm from all controllers: Enabled
- Alarm language: English
- Communication alarm delay: 10min
- Auto acknowledge priority: All
- Watchdog mode: Enabled
- Interval: 10min
- Alarm route monitor: Enabled
- I'm alive alarm: Enabled
- Interval: 10min

Run Quick setup:
Click Quick setup to complete the configuration.

Finish the setup:
The alarm routing setup is now complete.
Additional information
This setup is used to define how alarms are forwarded from the controller. Correct destination details, alarm route settings, and common alarm settings are required for stable alarm delivery.
Tip:
Verify the controller IP address, destination IP host name, and port values before saving the setup. Incorrect network values will prevent alarms from being delivered.
