Web Port switches between different read and write queues for different activities. Here it is possible to control the size of the read and write queues in Web Port.
Web Port performs the number of read (or write) operations that the settings specify before staring the next queue. This can be useful for optimizing the response time at large installations.
The queues are divided as follows:

| Reading (Standard) | Background reading of tags when updating pages |
| Reading (Priority) | Initial reading when opening an page or settings dialog |
| Write | Queue for writing |
| Alarm | Queue for reading alarm tags |
| Trend | Queue for reading trend tags |
| *Max request count | Maximum number of concurrent questions before adding to queue |
| *Max queue size | Maximum number of questions before “service unavailable” response |
